Yagan Square is part of the State Government’s Perth City Link project – one of Perth’s most exciting redevelopments to transform our city. Yagan Square connects William, Wellington and Roe Streets and is located in the arms of the historic Horseshoe Bridge and above three operating rail tunnels.
Yagan Square recognises one of the Noongar people’s great leader-warriors and acknowledges the historical and cultural significance of the site. The development includes the construction of a flagship public space incorporating retail markets, market hall, bars, cafes, green spaces and play areas.
Yagan Square won a number of awards at the 2019 Master Builders WA - Bankwest Excellence in Construction Awards including Best Government Building, Best Public Use Building and Excellence in Concrete.
