The Wickham Recreation Precinct provides state-of-the-art sport, fitness and recreation facilities for the local community.
We delivered the multipurpose recreation centre, upgrades to the existing AFL and rugby ovals, new tennis, netball, basketball, beach volleyball and indoor cricket facilities. Six new light towers were erected to enable year-round participation in outdoor sports.
The purpose-built centre which includes a gymnasium, children’s play area, change rooms, restaurant and alfresco café, provides a focal point for families residing in the community.
The Precinct won a number of awards at the 2013 Master Builders WA, Kimberley-Pilbara Excellence in Construction Awards including the Overall Award for Best Commercial Project, Best Commercial Building over $6.5m, Judges Innovation Award, Innovative Use of Building Materials and Excellence in Concreting.
