Wanangkura Stadium comprises a new 4500m² multi-purpose recreation centre, three associated outdoor courts, landscaped parks and public spaces.
The Stadium accommodates numerous basketball, netball, volleyball, futsal (indoor soccer), squash and badminton courts, with fixed and retractable seating for over 400 people.
A short term child minding facility, gym and fitness rooms, seating, reception and administration areas, kiosk and tea room facilities, amenities, oval and outdoor courts, function areas, and meeting facilities are also part of the stadium.
Wanangkura Stadium was officially opened on the 29 July 2012. The stadium won the Certificate of Merit award at the 2012 Master Builders - Bankwest, Building Excellence Awards Kimberley Pilbara.
