The Hub Project Forward Works

We carried out the forward work activities along the PTA rail lines in Northbridge between City West Station to the West and McIver Station to the East.

Works included construction of an IWC retaining wall, cable containment systems, earthworks, under boring of train lines and construction and commissioning of two service equipment rooms.

The second part of this project took place at Perth Station in preparation for the Perth City Link Project. Works included the construction of a cable containment system, space frame PA system, temporary station power and upgrade of platform 6&7, including:

 

• Extension of the platform and construction of a new escape ramp and path;

• New platform surface and ceiling;and

• Upgrade of existing escalators.
