Ronald McDonald House is located in the QEII Medical Centre and consists of 47 ensuite rooms with the capacity to accommodate 190 people. The facility provides accommodation and support for the families of seriously ill children undergoing treatment at the new Perth Children’s Hospital.
The facility comprises four stories of accommodation, a communal lounge and dining area; two state of the art kitchens; function room; recreation area; gymnasium, and smaller lounge areas. Basement parking and a roof top terrace complete this valuable project.
The new Ronald McDonald House was the first building of its kind in Australia to achieve a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating, and we are extremely proud to have delivered it for the West Australian community.
The project won the 2016 Master Builders-Bankwest Excellence in Construction Award for Best Multi-Unit Development over $20m.
