We delivered the state-of-the-art medical research facility for the Harry Perkins Institute. The ten storey research facility, located at the QEII Medical Centre, comprises a demonstration laboratory for public education, clinical research space, state wide core equipment and facilities, offices, auditorium, seminar rooms, meeting places and a cafe.
The world-class facility brings together laboratory scientists and researchers that investigate a range of diseases including cancer, leukaemia, diabetes and melanoma.
The Institute has won several awards including the prestigious Jeffrey Howlett Award and Architecture Award for Interior Design at the Australian Institute of Architects Awards in 2014 and the 2014 Master Builders Excellence in Construction award for Best Education Building over $50m.
