We delivered this defining architectural landmark on the foreshore of Albany, with its breathtaking views of the Princess Royal Harbour.

Officially opened on December 11th 2010, the Centre houses the captivating Princess Royal Theatre, a 620 seat auditorium comprising a large stage, full fly tower, orchestra pit lift, catwalks and cutting edge sound and visual staging systems.

The Centre also contains the Kalyenup Studio, a venue for events of up to 200 people, and the Hanover Room on the second level, providing more spectacular views.

The dynamic building form is dominated by four triangular diamond shaped structures made of double fold standing seam zinc cladded panelling, together with glass skylights over 40 metres high. The walls form trapezoidal glass ribbons of varying heights below the soaring roof, with panelised walls spanning horizontally between the steel beams.

The Albany Entertainment Centre won several awards at the 2011 MBA Excellence in Construction Awards including Best Overall Construction Project, Best Regional Project, Best State Government Project, Best Public Use Building and Best Steel Construction Project.

We also won the AIB Professional Excellence in Building High Commendation Award for Commercial Construction between $50-$100 million in the same year.
