Doric Contractors is pleased to announce its formal appointment to construct what will become Perth’s most iconic public space, Yagan Square. The Yagan Square precinct will be one of five new links between Perth’s CBD and Northbridge for the first time in more than 100 years and will see the return of food markets, community and city life to the heart of the CBD.

Doric Project Manager Luke Pruyn received a high commendation at the 2015 Australian Institute of Building’s Professional Excellence Awards held last week.

 

On Friday 4 December, members of Doric’s Executive Team and the Ronald McDonald House Project Team joined CEO Peter King, Patron Adam Gilchrist, Campaign contributors and dignitaries to celebrate the official opening of the new Ronald McDonald House.

Doric Contractors achieved practical completion on Bold Park Aquatic Centre on Friday 27 November, with the stunning $12.25 million centre opening to the public for the first time last Saturday.

Doric continues its tendering success with the recent advice of selection as the preferred contractor for both Harrisdale ($27 million) and Halls Head ($32 million) Shopping Centres.

A Topping Out ceremony to mark reaching the highest point of construction of Curtin University’s latest research facility, Building 304, took place on Tuesday 13 October.
